We are expanding our investment team in Stockholm to scale Sandwater’s presence and help great founders succeed. Sandwater is a venture capital firm backing early-stage founders that build ambitious, scalable solutions for the change we need. The founders we work with address some of the most important challenges within resource efficiency, energy transition and productivity & resilience. By adding capital, competence, conviction and connections, we work collaboratively with our founders, teams and co-investors to create the right foundation and speed for success. Sandwater manages more than EUR 400m (AUM) across two funds in the top decile with a focus on Northern European companies developing from the late Seed to Series B stages. We have more than 25 companies in our current fund portfolios across 7 countries. We’re a team of 11 people located across Oslo (our HQ) and Stockholm (opened April 2025) who work tightly as a team to source, qualify, invest in and assist our companies as they develop.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years full-time working experience
  • Founder experience (successful or not!)
  • Start-up/scale-up journey
  • Investing (VC/PE), finance/M&A, management consulting
  • Functional expertise with AI, software, operational scaling, sales, business development, etc
  • Specific domain knowledge relevant to our investment thematics within energy, resource efficiency/materials, human health and wellbeing, productivity & resilience, AI/robotics, etc.
  • Other exciting backgrounds that could expand our diversity of perspectives and contribute to making successful investments
