Job Description:

The role is critical to ensure compliance of Investor Services Technology initiatives to local regulatory requirements and the relevant Cross Border Data Clearance which exist across Asia Pacific. Responsibilities include obtaining outsourcing approvals, centralized monitoring, due diligence, and driving governance and risk initiatives for Asia Pacific Investor Services Technology.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensuring that outsourcing approvals are obtained for Asia Pacific Investor Services Technology outsourcing initiatives and that Citi is compliant to all the in-country regulatory requirements and Citi policies pertaining to outsourcing
  • responsible for the annual due diligence of approved outsourcing arrangements and for centralized monitoring and tracking
  • applies comprehensive understanding of how multiple areas collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving outsourcing approvals
  • provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations
  • exhibits sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information
  • support and facilitate discussions with internal auditors to address identified areas and potential risks
  • appropriately assess risk, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating issues with transparency

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a Compliance or Risk & Control function
  • knowledge of the regulatory environment pertaining to technology outsourcing and versed with outsourcing documentation such as TRM (Technology Risk Management)
  • strong coordination skills to work across various functions in Citi – Technology, Business, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, Finance, and respective Country offices
  • strong oral, written, presentation, and people skills
