Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Investor Reporting Associate to join our dynamic Investor Reporting team. This role is essential in ensuring timely and accurate reporting and reconciliation of mortgage loan data to our investor partners, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, and private investors. Along with these day-to-day operations, you will be working alongside management and other cross-functional stakeholders to help scale processes, assist in the creation of new reporting processes, and identify areas for improvement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Report loan activity records accurately and on time to Investors
  • Perform monthly reconciliations in accordance with investor requirements
  • Maintain remittance schedules and ensure the timely delivery of funds
  • Apply amortization schedules to loan data for proper reporting
  • Collaborate with internal departments and understand the impact of servicing events on reporting
  • Utilize internally developed systems and tools in order to perform root cause analysis
  • Use Excel (including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and basic formulas) and Google Workspace tools to manage reporting data
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 1 year of Investor Reporting experience within mortgage servicing
  • Proven experience working with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, and private investors
  • Strong understanding of remittance types and loan amortization
  • General understanding of mortgage servicing operations and department functions
  • Proficiency in Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, sum functions) and basic use of Gmail and Google Workspace
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Finance or Accounting or STEM) -or- 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role preferred
  • Must be available to collaborate and communicate in regularly held in-person meetings
  • Minimum education requirement: High school diploma or GED equivalent required
