Job Description:

Defines high-impact, long-term business strategies at the corporate, business, and/or regional level. Partners with senior management to identify existing operational and new business opportunities, including market development, investment prioritization, and Mergers & Acquisitions and other growth strategies. Works with cross-functional project teams to conduct rigorous, data-driven analyses and develop recommendations for optimizing business and financial performance.

  • Works with and manages cross-functional project teams
  • Conducts rigorous, data-driven analyses to diagnose current state and model future outcomes
  • Develops recommendations for senior management based on competitive market, financial, statistical, and economic trend data
  • Manages corporate strategy initiatives and participates in communicating strategy
  • Researches businesses, industries, and competitors for multiple workstreams
  • Constructs financial and statistical models
  • Interprets and synthesizes data to identify major conclusions
  • Owns data collection activities and partners with cross-functional team members
  • Prepares project plans, objectives, and deliverables

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in management consulting, investment banking, or market research
  • First level university degree
  • Recent MBA with pre-degree experience would be considered
  • Very strong analytical thinking and analysis skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling
  • Developed business acumen and technical knowledge within at least two business units
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and presentation
  • Advanced group facilitation, and interviewing skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Good relationship management skills, including partnering
