Our client is a Palo Alto–based, early-stage venture capital firm investing in transformative founders and emerging businesses. The firm is experiencing a period of accelerated growth, expanding its internal infrastructure to support future fundraising and long-term scale. They are seeking an Investor Relations & Fundraising Associate to play a critical role in capital raising efforts and Limited Partner engagement. This position is well-suited for a commercially minded, relationship-driven professional who thrives in outbound outreach, long-cycle relationship management, and close partnership with senior leadership. The role offers direct exposure to firm leadership and sophisticated institutional investors.
Job Responsibility:
Execute and support fundraising campaigns, including investor outreach, meeting coordination, and follow-up communications
Source, cultivate, and manage a pipeline of prospective LPs, including institutions, corporates, and family offices
Drive structured outbound efforts and maintain consistent engagement across investor relationships
Create and tailor fundraising materials, pitch decks, and investor correspondence
Assist with LP communications, including quarterly reporting, ad hoc data requests, capital calls, and distributions
Maintain CRM systems and monitor fundraising metrics and performance indicators
Support planning and execution of Annual Meetings and investor events
Develop a deep understanding of the firm’s investment strategy and articulate it clearly to external stakeholders
Requirements:
1–3 years of experience in fundraising, investor relations, sales, finance, or other client-facing roles
Prior exposure to institutional investors, ideally within venture capital or alternative investments
Bachelor’s degree required

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a polished investor-facing presence
Highly organized, detail-focused, and comfortable operating within defined processes
Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple external relationships with professionalism

Comfortable working with data, CRM platforms, and investor-facing documentation
