Job Description

Our client is a Palo Alto–based, early-stage venture capital firm investing in transformative founders and emerging businesses. The firm is experiencing a period of accelerated growth, expanding its internal infrastructure to support future fundraising and long-term scale. They are seeking an Investor Relations & Fundraising Associate to play a critical role in capital raising efforts and Limited Partner engagement. This position is well-suited for a commercially minded, relationship-driven professional who thrives in outbound outreach, long-cycle relationship management, and close partnership with senior leadership. The role offers direct exposure to firm leadership and sophisticated institutional investors.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute and support fundraising campaigns, including investor outreach, meeting coordination, and follow-up communications
  • Source, cultivate, and manage a pipeline of prospective LPs, including institutions, corporates, and family offices
  • Drive structured outbound efforts and maintain consistent engagement across investor relationships
  • Create and tailor fundraising materials, pitch decks, and investor correspondence
  • Assist with LP communications, including quarterly reporting, ad hoc data requests, capital calls, and distributions
  • Maintain CRM systems and monitor fundraising metrics and performance indicators
  • Support planning and execution of Annual Meetings and investor events
  • Develop a deep understanding of the firm’s investment strategy and articulate it clearly to external stakeholders

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in fundraising, investor relations, sales, finance, or other client-facing roles
  • Prior exposure to institutional investors, ideally within venture capital or alternative investments
  • Bachelor’s degree required
