Job Description

We are seeking hands-on Investor Relations & Corporate Communications Executive to join the project execution team. This role is ideal for individuals who are intellectually curious, possess a strong foundation in corporate communication or finance, and want to gain deep exposure to various business models. You will be responsible for transforming complex, data-heavy financial information provided by clients into clear, compliance-ready public and investor materials. This is an internal execution-focused role with minimal direct client-interfacing initially, reporting directly to the Managing Director during your training phase.

Job Responsibility

  • Content & Presentation Design: Synthesize and transform technical corporate data, prospectuses, and quarterly financial results into highly polished, executive-level PowerPoint decks (e.g., results presentations, analyst briefings, and fact sheets).
  • Investor & Corporate Communications: Support the drafting, editing, and refinement of investor relations and corporate communication programs in accordance with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and disclosure standards.
  • Information Simplification: Review and interpret financial narratives provided by clients, ensuring all figures, tables, and charts are meticulously accurate, consistent, and easy for the public and investors to digest.
  • Media Monitoring & Reporting: Conduct comprehensive media and industry monitoring across print, digital, and broadcast platforms, compiling relevant insights and analysis for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Corporate Event Support: Assist in preparing and coordinating straightforward corporate events, press conferences, and investor briefings (including managing backdrops, speeches, and documentation).
  • Tools Utilization: Use Canva and Microsoft PowerPoint extensively to manage visual development and structure narrative-driven professional materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, P.R., Marketing, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. (Candidates with an SPM qualification and at least 3 years of relevant corporate communication experience will be considered). Fresh graduates are welcome to apply as comprehensive training is provided.
  • Professional fluency in spoken and written Mandarin and English is required, as the role involves processing financial news, reports, and managing communications for Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • A high level of comfort working with numbers, financial statements, and corporate announcements (prior background in auditing is not preferred
  • an in-house corporate communications or agency background is ideal).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word. Experience with Canva is a strong advantage.
  • Highly responsible, detail-oriented, adaptable to changing client needs, and possesses strong presentation skills. Must be an outspoken collaborator who is eager to learn.

  • Own the executive operating rhythm for the BFO of Corporate and IR: master calendar strategy, prioritization, prep, and follow-through across internal and external commitments
  • Run Investor Relations engagement logistics end-to-end: investor and analyst meetings, conferences, non-deal roadshows, partner meetings, and high-touch stakeholder engagement. Build tight run-of-show plans, briefing packets, and post-meeting action capture
  • Manage high-complexity travel and time-zone choreography, often with short notice and multiple stakeholders, with minimal churn and maximum clarity
