Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Commercial Banking Relationship Manager within our Investor Real Estate segment supporting clients with annual revenue of $100MM and up covering the Dallas, TX market as part of the Commercial Bank. This role involves developing, retaining, and growing highly complex client relationships and serving as a subject matter expert for complex financial solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, retain, and grow highly complex client relationships through relationship management
  • Serve as top subject matter expert for cash flow, real estate loans, and industry-specific financial products
  • Analyze financial statements and data to develop strategic recommendations
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders across multiple departments
  • Build and manage complex portfolio of Investor Real Estate relationships
  • Navigate high-risk scenarios with sound judgment and strategic insight
  • Influence enterprise-level decisions through deep industry knowledge
  • Lead strategy and resolution for full suite of complex solutions
  • Provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding Commercial Banking Relationship Management
  • Strategically lead professionals and managers to improve processes and risk control
  • Drive relationship planning activities
  • Strategically lead and support Business Development Representatives
  • Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Proven experience in origination and management of loans across multiple asset classes including multi-family, industrial, hospitality, retail, self-storage, and office properties
  • Deep understanding of commercial real estate industry and local markets
  • Expertise in investor real estate loan structures including documentation negotiation and successful loan closings
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain complex portfolio of Investor Real Estate relationships
  • Strong background in business development with track record of successful Investor Real Estate relationship management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of core banking products and services such as commercial lending and treasury management
  • Completion of formal credit training program
  • Commercial banking account relationship management experience within Middle Market segment
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver organization to clients and prospects
  • Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationships
  • Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to travel
