Job Responsibility

  • Allocation of income/loss through various levels of the fund structure
  • Calculation of management, incentive or carried interest fees
  • Interpretation of legal documents and translation into Microsoft Excel formulas
  • Preparing capital calls, distribution, and rebalancing computations and notices sent to investors
  • Maintaining official books and records of funds in accordance with offering documents
  • Preparing investor statements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a business-related field
  • Five or more years of experience in alternative investments industry

Nice to have

  • Detail-oriented acumen
  • Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems with minimal guidance
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office products (with intermediate to expert Excel skills), PCS (Investran) and/or Cascade

  • Participate in the tax structuring, planning, and due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions
  • Ensure all tax filings and payments are timely filed
  • Assist in responding to federal and state notices
  • Assist with federal and state audits
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors to prepare taxable income projections for corporations, REITs, and pass-through entities in order to determine appropriate withholding associated with distributions to US taxable and international investors
  • Analyze quarterly withholding requirements and impact of asset dispositions on REITs, partnerships, corporations, and investors
