Job Responsibility

  • Oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial statements
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded properly
  • Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles
  • Collaborate with auditors during financial statement audits and provide necessary documentation
  • Monitor and manage account reconciliation processes to resolve discrepancies effectively
  • Analyze financial data and generate detailed reports to support decision-making processes
  • Implement best practices for financial management and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Assist in developing and improving financial procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Work closely with investment teams to provide accounting support for fund and trust activities
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to streamline accounting operations and perform in-depth financial analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of accounting experience in family office, fund, trust, or investment management environments
  • Strong proficiency in Excel with a proven ability to use advanced functions for financial analysis
  • Solid understanding of financial audits and experience collaborating with auditors
  • Hands-on experience with month-end close processes and general ledger management
  • Expertise in preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
