Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Test Coordinator with hands-on experience in investment management platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin and/or Charles River (CRD) to support testing activities across critical trading and portfolio management systems. This role will coordinate testing efforts across business and technology teams, ensuring high-quality delivery of system enhancements, integrations, and releases.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate end-to-end testing activities across multiple workstreams and teams
  • Develop and manage test plans, test strategy, and test schedules aligned with project timelines
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria
  • Manage test case creation, execution tracking, defect management, and reporting
  • Ensure testing coverage across functional, integration, regression, and UAT cycles
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users and ensure proper documentation of results
  • Track and communicate defects, risks, and testing progress to project leadership
  • Ensure proper validation of trading workflows, portfolio management processes, and financial data
  • Support testing for system upgrades, enhancements, and integration with downstream/upstream systems

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in QA/Test Coordination or Test Management roles
  • Strong experience with investment management platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin and/or Charles River Development (CRD)
  • Experience supporting testing for trading systems, portfolio management, and investment operations
  • Experience coordinating UAT cycles with business stakeholders
  • Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of defect lifecycle and testing methodologies
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

  • Experience in Asset Management, Capital Markets, or Investment Management environments
  • Knowledge of order management systems (OMS), portfolio accounting, and trade lifecycle
  • Exposure to Agile / Scrum delivery models
  • Prior experience coordinating testing across multiple vendor or offshore teams
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
