Wells Fargo is seeking an Investment Portfolio Management Executive to lead the Portfolio Strategy and Analytics (PSA) team within the Investment Portfolio, with responsibility for portfolio-wide analytics including portfolio strategy, portfolio allocation, measuring and assessing portfolio returns, forecasting, risk analytics, regulatory execution, model and technology implementation, and executive reporting.
Job Responsibility:
Set strategic objectives and direction for the PSA Team, by attracting, developing, and retaining a high‑performing team
Partner with executive management across Investment Portfolio and the broader Finance organization to define portfolio objectives and investment strategy, including asset allocation analytics, benchmarking, performance attribution, and returns analysis to inform senior leadership and committee decisions
Oversee end‑to‑end portfolio analytics including supporting investment and hedging decisions. balance, income, and market value forecasting, and monitoring of key portfolio risks (market, interest rate, credit, liquidity, capital)
Lead enterprise‑critical stress testing and sensitivity capabilities for the Investment Portfolio, including CCAR and other stress and scenario analytics, and provide analytical support for portfolio actions under stress and recovery scenarios (including Recovery & Resolution Planning)
Own Investment Portfolio reporting to senior stakeholders including executive leadership, key management/Board committees (e.g., ALCO and Finance Committee), and Investor Relations—delivering clear, decision‑useful analytics and materials at the right cadence
Drive innovation in analytics and decision tools by leading the development of new analytical approaches and capabilities that enable evaluation of new investment opportunities and assess portfolio impacts and readiness for strategic initiatives
Oversee integration of analytics, models, and technology to deliver scalable, consistent solutions across PSA and the broader Investment Portfolio, serving as a key coordination point with Technology and Model Risk partners
Lead PSA Efforts to improve efficiency through workflow redesign and AI/technology enablement
Requirements:
10+ years of Portfolio Strategy and Asset Class Allocation, Portfolio Analytics experience, finance experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
6+ years of management experience

Deep fixed income analytics expertise, including demonstrated ability to evaluate total return, risk, and P&L dynamics and translate analytics into actionable portfolio strategy and decision support
Track record of leading strategic change and modernization, including optimizing constraints, leveraging technology, and improving efficiency through process redesign and execution focus
Proven people leadership, including experience leading organizations, developing talent, and driving performance through clear priorities and accountability
Strong quantitative/regulatory fluency in a G‑SIB environment, including experience applying G‑SIB bank regulations to portfolio construction, evaluation, and stress testing
Proven ability to run well-governed financial analytics processes, with strong discipline around controls, data quality, and execution expectations
Broad risk management expertise, including financial risk management, process/control architecture, operational risk and model risk management
Demonstrated fixed-income strategy leadership with the ability to build alignment and gain consensus among peers/portfolio managers and clearly present strategic tradeoffs and recommendations to senior management
Executive presence and communication strength, with demonstrated experience communicating with and presenting to executive‑level leadership and key stakeholders
