Wells Fargo is seeking an Investment Portfolio Management Executive to lead the Portfolio Strategy and Analytics (PSA) team within the Investment Portfolio, with responsibility for portfolio-wide analytics including portfolio strategy, portfolio allocation, measuring and assessing portfolio returns, forecasting, risk analytics, regulatory execution, model and technology implementation, and executive reporting.

  • Set strategic objectives and direction for the PSA Team, by attracting, developing, and retaining a high‑performing team

  • Lead enterprise‑critical stress testing and sensitivity capabilities for the Investment Portfolio, including CCAR and other stress and scenario analytics, and provide analytical support for portfolio actions under stress and recovery scenarios (including Recovery & Resolution Planning)
  • Own Investment Portfolio reporting to senior stakeholders including executive leadership, key management/Board committees (e.g., ALCO and Finance Committee), and Investor Relations—delivering clear, decision‑useful analytics and materials at the right cadence
  • Drive innovation in analytics and decision tools by leading the development of new analytical approaches and capabilities that enable evaluation of new investment opportunities and assess portfolio impacts and readiness for strategic initiatives
  • Oversee integration of analytics, models, and technology to deliver scalable, consistent solutions across PSA and the broader Investment Portfolio, serving as a key coordination point with Technology and Model Risk partners
  • Lead PSA Efforts to improve efficiency through workflow redesign and AI/technology enablement

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Portfolio Strategy and Asset Class Allocation, Portfolio Analytics experience, finance experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 6+ years of management experience

Nice to have:

  • Deep fixed income analytics expertise, including demonstrated ability to evaluate total return, risk, and P&L dynamics and translate analytics into actionable portfolio strategy and decision support
  • Track record of leading strategic change and modernization, including optimizing constraints, leveraging technology, and improving efficiency through process redesign and execution focus
  • Proven people leadership, including experience leading organizations, developing talent, and driving performance through clear priorities and accountability
  • Strong quantitative/regulatory fluency in a G‑SIB environment, including experience applying G‑SIB bank regulations to portfolio construction, evaluation, and stress testing
