Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and design processes to provide the liquidity management for current and immediate needs but also move increasingly to support forward looking liquidity management solutions
  • Coordination of data flow between Securities Services provider, AMHK (and IM Custodian when required). Overall oversight of the services provided by suppliers, this would involve escalations, chairing of regular service review meetings and bringing together of appropriate MI on service exceptions and presenting this back to the service supplier and working to ensure appropriate controls and process oversight is in place to mitigate these risks, where appropriate, going forward
  • Support current line management and where required be able to cover the responsibilities for BAU management and supplier relations
  • Engage and work closely with other departments on special projects (e.g. ad hoc data analysis, reports production, internal and external audits, strategic or technical reviews etc.)
  • Initiate system implementations for continued enhancements of productivity, processes and controls. Ensure compliance with Group and Local governance policies on BAU activities
  • Provide appropriate input in all change initiatives, advising potential impact on the current processes, drives change management in coordination with I.T to increase automation and controls

Requirements:

  • Be a self-motivated, pro-active self-starter with the ability and attributes to act and perform with minimal direction or instruction
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders from various departments
  • Required: Demonstrable experience in establishing operational controls and issue resolution management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in communication with diverse groups internally and externally
  • Partnership skills are essential as there will be working with other members of the team
  • Desired: Demonstrable experience in vendor management
  • Desired: Experience in Investment Ops functions in Insurance and/or Asset Management firms
  • English and Cantonese required
