Job Description

The Investment Due Diligence Senior Analyst is responsible for conducting Investment Manager Due Diligence across Traditional and Alternative investment strategies to support Citi Global Wealth’s investment platforms. The role contributes to initial and ongoing due diligence coverage for Citi’s Alternative Off‑Platform Program and Traditional Network‑Available Program, ensuring consistent application of Citi’s governance, risk and control standards. The role operates as part of the global IMDD function and partners closely with product management, strategic third‑party providers and external investment managers.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute initial and ongoing investment manager due diligence assessments across Traditional and Alternative investment managers
  • Evaluate investment managers’ organisational structure, governance, control environment, risk management framework and operational infrastructure
  • Perform due diligence coverage for Citi’s: Alternative Off‑Platform Program and Traditional Network‑Available Program
  • Review and assess investment manager and fund documentation, including offering materials, constitutional documents and service provider confirmations
  • Coordinate and conduct meetings (on‑site and virtual, where applicable) with investment managers and key service providers
  • Produce clear, high‑quality written IMDD assessments for internal stakeholders in accordance with Citi standards
  • Engage with Citi stakeholders to support platform approvals, ongoing monitoring and product governance requirements
  • Liaise with Citi’s strategic third‑party providers and external investment managers, as required
  • Support maintenance and enhancement of IMDD policies, procedures and frameworks to reflect industry best practice
  • Identify, escalate and track material risks, issues and remediation outcomes
  • Contribute to strategic projects, process improvements and initiatives supporting the broader IMDD function
  • Monitor market developments and regulatory themes relevant to investment manager oversight
  • Present to Global Wealth Investment governance committees on due diligence-related reviews and escalations

Requirements

  • Prior experience in investment manager due diligence, manager research, risk oversight or a related financial services role is beneficial
  • Exposure to Traditional and/or Alternative asset classes preferred
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to support analysis
  • Strong analytical and evaluation skills with sound judgment
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective stakeholder management across functions and seniority levels
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables
  • Detail‑oriented with a strong control mindset
  • Collaborative and proactive contributor to team objectives
  • Bachelor’s degree required
