Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Investment Banking Associate as part of Corporate & Investment Banking Equity Capital Markets Group with a focus on the Energy & Power sector.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in analyzing companies and client investments
Make recommendations to clients on investments
Identify opportunities for process improvements within Investment Banking Program
Review and analyze market data, valuation analyses, models, and presentations
Present recommendations for resolving business challenges
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Interact with internal and external customers
Coordinate with coverage banking, legal and trading to originate and execute transactions
Develop pitch materials for client prospects
Model and price convertible securities and equity derivatives
Create and maintain spreadsheets/databases tracking market conditions and key metrics

Requirements:

2+ years of Investment Banking Program experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education
2+ years of capital markets experience
2+ years of experience working with Energy and Power clients
Ability to work effectively and independently in a team environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Strong financial modeling skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Bachelor's Degree with academic distinction and coursework in financial accounting and corporate finance
Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) within 90 days of hire
Registration for FINRA Series 79 within 90 days of hire
Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam within 90 days of hire
