Job Description:

Associate role in Industrials Investment Banking coverage team advising on complex financial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, joint ventures, and financial investments. Key sub-sectors include Aerospace & Defense, Capital Goods, Chemicals, Forest Products & Packaging, Industrial Services, Metals, and Transportation & Logistics.

Job Responsibility:

Help orchestrate strategic advisory and capital raising transactions
Manage and develop client coverage materials
Build financial models and support various financial analyses including valuations and merger consequences
Perform comprehensive company and industry research
Prepare presentations and materials for clients and internal committees
Develop, train and support Analysts
Contribute to team growth and success
Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers
Participate in client meetings, due diligence visits and other client interactions

Requirements:

2+ years of Investment Banking Program experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Bachelor's Degree with coursework in financial accounting and corporate finance or an MBA
2+ years of relevant investment banking experience
Strong financial modeling skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work collaboratively in a demanding, highly focused, deadline driven, fast paced team environment
Registration FINRA Series 63 (or 66) within 90 days of hire
Registration for FINRA Series 79 within 90 days of hire
Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam within 90 days of hire
Ability to travel up to 10%
Ability to work outside of regular business hours
