Withum’s Valuation Consulting Services practice prides itself on understanding clients’ business strategies and needs. Our team assists companies in meeting business requirements related to valuation, risk management, transfer pricing, M & A Transactions, economic analysis, fairness opinions, and model validation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in the preparation of valuation analyses for various purposes, including financial reporting, gift & estate tax, investment banking, and advisory services
  • Assist in reviewing third-party appraisals for audit support and financial reporting purposes
  • Complete data entry of financial statements and tax returns into Excel-based models
  • Conduct market, industry, and economic research to support valuation analysis
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to client communications regarding valuation matters
  • Collaborate with different teams, including Corporate Value Consulting and Forensic Value Consulting
  • Assist in writing reports, letters, and other client deliverables
  • Participate in trainings and career insight presentations
  • Write articles on practice related matters using information gained during course of internship
  • Assist in business development needs

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a 4 or 5-year academic institution pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Econometrics, Quantitative Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Outstanding academic record minimum 3.5 GPA required
  • Successful completion of a previous internship or co-op in a related field (investment banking, valuation, financial services, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to exhibit strong attention to detail, business acumen, and professional writing skills
  • Strong interest in quantitative and economic analysis, with an understanding of financial statements and tax returns is preferred
  • Proven leadership experience and an entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrated through extracurricular activities or work experiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to excel in client-facing roles
