Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to join our Energy and Power team as part of Corporate and Investment Banking. This role involves analyzing companies, developing client strategies, financial modeling, market research, and preparing client presentations.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in analyzing companies and developing strategies for clients
Pull market and industry research
Complete trading simulation within Investment Banking Mid-Year Program
Review strategies for clients
Build detailed financial models
Analyze market data
Prepare client presentations related to low-to-medium risk tasks and deliverables
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Interact with internal and external customers

Requirements:

6+ months of Investment Banking Program experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 63, and Series 79 within 90 days of hire date if not available for transfer
Meet FINRA registration requirements including successful completion of criminal and regulatory checks and disclosure reviews

Nice to have:

12+ months of experience in Investment Banking working with Energy and Power clients
Ability to work effectively and independently in a team environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Strong financial modeling skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Bachelor's Degree with academic distinction and coursework in financial accounting and corporate finance
Professional experience through internships, part-time or full-time work, and/or extracurricular activities
Dedication to building a career in Investment Banking
Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused collaborative and fast paced team environment
