Investment Analyst

• Supporting project FID processes across pipeline of projects in UK and Europe
• Support initial investment review and screening of prospective investment opportunities
• Working on debt funding for the pipeline of projects (liaising with lenders, reviewing bank models, coordinating due diligence and transaction execution)
• Building, maintaining and analysing detailed financial and valuation models
• Preparation of regular memos, slide decks and transaction materials for board approval
• Monitoring and reporting on the portfolio/pipeline
• Forming of strong internal relationships across the business, including development, project delivery, asset management and finance teams with some exposure to senior management
• Proactively analyse the financial impact of individual project risk, regulatory changes, and the economic environment on the group’s portfolio
• Supporting potential M&A activity

• At least 1-3 years’ experience gained in an investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or a comparable environment (others Developers/IPPs)
• Experience working in a dynamic, transaction-based environment
• Commercial exposure to the Renewable / Infrastructure sector would be useful
• Strong quantitative, analytical skills, financial modelling, excel, and power point capabilities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Outstanding academic record with a degree in a relevant discipline
