On behalf of one of Europe’s leading international industrial and logistics real estate developers and investors, we are seeking an Investment Analyst to join their team in Madrid. Operating across 11 countries, this institution combines immense global capital strength with agile local market expertise. As an Investment Analyst, you will serve as the analytical engine behind the company’s capital deployment strategies in Spain. This is a dynamic position where you will work closely with regional leadership, local brokers, and institutional stakeholders to source, underwrite, and execute multi-million euro transactions. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the financial architecture of deals, shepherding them from initial site scouting through to Investment Committee approval and closing.
Job Responsibility
Source, underwrite, and assess potential logistics real estate acquisitions in Spain
Understand the calculations used by the company and how the company assesses investments
build and maintain cash flow models
Prepare letters of intent, real estate market research reports, due diligence documents, internal investment memos, HUM (Heads of Terms), ICM (Investment Committee Memos), and other business administration paperwork in advance of real estate transactions
Prepare management presentations and strategic reports to support capital deployment decisions and portfolio strategy
Build relations with real estate agents, public administrations, local players, and potential clients. Keep track of client/prospect interactions
Manage leads and follow up through daily CRM use to update and stay on task until deals are closed
Assess comparable reports, property value(s), and market conditions through research, outreach, data, site tours, and gathering relevant market intelligence
Oversee weekly/bimonthly conference calls regarding acquisition checklists to ensure items are completed on time during due diligence and closing of acquisitions/dispositions
Requirements
University degree in Economics, Finance, or Business
3–4 years of relevant investment experience with a clear understanding of Real Estate concepts
Deep analytical skills, tech-savvy, and advanced Excel capabilities
Organized, systematic, and proven ability to meet deadlines
Shows a curious, proactive attitude with a mindset focused on process improvement and automation
