Job Responsibility

  • Oversee investment accounting team output for accuracy, consistency, and GAAP compliance
  • Manage accounting processes for audited and non-audited entities
  • Act as liaison with auditors during the annual audit
  • Prepare and review K-1s, reconciliations, and reports
  • Maintain accounting standards and improve processes and internal controls
  • Collaborate with investment team on valuations, capital activity, and performance
  • Ensure proper entries and reconciliations within NetSuite or similar ERP
  • Partner on special projects, reporting enhancements, and system initiatives

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a family office, investment firm, or fund accounting required
  • Strong foundation in investment accounting and GAAP principles
  • Experience with audited financials, partnership accounting, and K-1 reporting
  • Proficiency in NetSuite or comparable ERP systems
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA strongly preferred
