Job Description:

We are hiring a talented Accountant to join our team in Bucharest office. The role is part of Bucharest Financial Hub which provides day to day and month end closing accounting support for Allianz entities.

Job Responsibility:

Reconciliation of the accounting postings with various financial date and reporting
Process the daily accounting postings for Investment Accounting
Process the daily correctional accounting postings for Treasury
Process Treasury daily tasks linked to the accounting
Input daily payments for Treasury
Data gathering on the financial instruments from Bloomberg
Creation and distribution daily NAVs for Unit Linked instruments
Input and follow-up of the settlement instructions

Requirements:

University Degree (preferably Accounting, Economics or Finance)
Strong accounting skills
IFRS 17 and insurance accounting skills are a plus
Financial instruments’ lifecycle knowledge (e.g. bonds, equities, derivatives, repos…)
Treasury management basic knowledge
Settlement management and instructions input basic knowledge
SAP Knowledge
Proficiency in MS Office (primarily Excel)
English work-proficiency level

Nice to have:

IFRS 17 and insurance accounting skills
Financial instruments’ lifecycle knowledge
Treasury management basic knowledge
Settlement management and instructions input basic knowledge
