Are you a customer service professional with a knack for problem-solving and a keen eye for detail? Our client who is located in Adelaide CBD is looking for an Investigations Officer to join their team. The role is offering full time hours (Monday to Friday) in a service centre environment. As an Investigations Officer, you will work within a dynamic service-centre environment, acting as a primary point of contact for employers across South Australia. Your work ensures that employers are registered correctly and contributing accurately to the scheme.

Job Responsibility:

  • Employer Registrations: Processing new registrations and assessing industry classifications using the South Australian Industry Classifications (SAIC)
  • Customer Service Excellence: Providing exceptional support through inbound and outbound calls and emails, using audience-appropriate language to explain complex matters
  • Evidence-Based Decision Making: Gathering and analysing information from business owners and representatives to make informed decisions on premium invoices
  • Education & Support: Assisting employers in understanding their statutory responsibilities and promoting the use of online services
  • Administrative Integrity: Maintaining precise records of all interactions and ensuring the confidentiality of employer information at all times

Requirements:

  • Available to commence 16th February 2026
  • Full time role, Monday to Friday
  • Office Based - Adelaide CBD
  • Australian Citizens / Permanent residents only
  • Highly developed skills in active listening and the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
  • Prior experience in an investigation / case management with critical thinking
  • The ability to apply professional judgement and follow established policies and procedures
  • A willingness to work within a diverse team and share strengths to achieve collective goals
