The Role We are hiring an Investigations Team Manager in our FTP Case Progression & Quality team, you will manage a team of Regulatory Investigators to ensure case load is managed professionally within Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators, high risk cases identified and interim orders obtained. This is a fast paced and demanding role, requiring strong people management experience, ability to problem solve, regulatory investigation and or disciplinary expertise.
Job Responsibility
Lead and motivate a team of Regulatory Investigators, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Oversee complex and sensitive investigations, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to regulatory standards
Work confidently under pressure managing competing priorities, tight deadlines, and a dynamic caseload environment
Partner with internal and external stakeholders, offering case progression advice and influencing at all levels
Tackle operational leadership responsibilities, from workflow management to reporting and decision making
Manage a range of people matters with professionalism, sensitivity, and strong judgement from recruitment to probation support, performance management, coaching and mentoring
Requirements
Experience working within an investigatory, regulatory, legal, or compliance environment
The ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, managing multiple demands without compromising standards
Strong analytical skills, professional integrity, and a focus on quality
A genuine passion for leading, supporting and developing people
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to influence decisions
Ability to problem solve and coach others to develop their problem solving skills
