Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to manage inventory levels and ensure operational efficiency within our organization. This contract position is based in Alameda, California, and offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team by maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting smooth workflows. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate strong organizational skills.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct regular physical inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels
monitor inventory movements and ensure proper documentation
investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly
collaborate with various departments to optimize inventory control processes
maintain detailed records related to inventory tracking and audits
operate material handling equipment to facilitate inventory management
ensure compliance with company inventory policies and procedures
support annual physical inventory efforts and assist with work order management
identify opportunities to improve inventory workflows and recommend solutions.

Requirements:

Proven experience in inventory management or a related field
strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
familiarity with inventory tracking systems and procedures
ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
basic proficiency in math and organizational skills
experience with material handling equipment is preferred
previous experience conducting physical inventory audits is a plus
commitment to adhering to company policies and maintaining operational efficiency.
