Our client has an immediate need for an Inventory Specialist to support a short-term project with strong potential to convert into a long-term opportunity. This role is ideal for someone with inventory or warehouse experience who is looking to grow into an Inventory Specialist or Analyst-level position. The team is open to upskilling the right candidate and expanding responsibilities based on performance. This position will involve a mix of hands-on warehouse work and system-based tracking, offering exposure to inventory controls, purchasing coordination, and data analysis.
Job Responsibility:
Perform a comprehensive audit of inventory across yard and parts areas
Identify discrepancies, shortages, and excess inventory
Organize and label materials for improved tracking and accessibility
Maintain accurate inventory records and update system data
Enter and manage inventory data within internal systems (Salesforce)
Utilize Microsoft Excel and internal tools to track inventory levels and trends
Assist with ordering parts, materials, and supplies as needed
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure inventory accuracy and process improvements
Requirements:
1–3+ years of experience in inventory, warehouse, logistics, or related field
Comfortable working in both a warehouse environment and office setting
Strong attention to detail with ability to identify discrepancies
Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and computer systems
Experience with inventory systems or ERP platforms is a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse as needed
