Job Description:

ATR is looking for a Inventory Planning Engineer/Manager to come onboard in our Customer Support & Services Directorate. The role involves inventory control, forecast & planning, inventory management, and leading projects and reportings for aircraft spare parts.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be accountable for the worldwide inventory investments and the performance of his perimeter of spares parts
  • Be accountable or support for the sizing and the performance of one pool of parts dedicated for the PBH services
  • Be accountable for the availability off-shelf of spares parts (fill rate)
  • Be accountable for the Buyback analysis
  • Be accountable for the balancing of stock among the worldwide warehouses (Paris, Miami, Singapore, Auckland)
  • Analyze the global safety stock and adjust if necessary
  • Analyze and propose action plans to improve the Inventory Coverage
  • Reduce the inventory Surplus
  • Cooperate with all the other services within Product & Services dpt.
  • Analyze the customer demand and its trend
  • Analyze the non-performance situations and find a solution
  • Adjust the Forecast Demand in order to adjust the purchasing orders
  • Analyze the not transformed RFQ and define an action plan
  • Calculate the procurement forecast and communicate to the supplier / supply dpt.
  • Coordinate & follow the Customer Return activity with internal Services
  • Be the focal point for all communication with internal Services
  • Performing weekly meetings on the activity
  • Manage all the project meetings review
  • Monitor or Support the activity with specific KPIs
  • Lead transversal projects (inventory and related to IT Dpt.)
  • Develop and analyze performance reporting in order to improve the Inventory Activity
  • Regular travels for business – Up to 5%

Requirements:

  • Graduated with +5 years degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or commerce
  • At least 3 years' experience (demand analysis, forecasting, supply chain and finance)
  • Professional in Excel, SAP
  • Enthusiasm
  • Coordination skills
  • Autonomy
  • Analytical skills
  • Fluent in English and French
