Job Description

The Inventory Specialist is a hands-on, high-volume transactional role responsible for the day-to-day execution of inventory tracking and receipt activities, focusing on both raw materials and finished goods.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist in monitoring raw material and finished goods component inventory levels to help prevent stockouts or excess inventory
  • Help track supplier shipments to the 3PL network and maintain accurate records for inbound product flow
  • Gather data for supply‑related reporting, including weekly operational updates and supplier performance tracking
  • Processing inventory receipts into ERP system

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Accounting roles, preferably in a CPG or manufacturing environment
  • High proficiency in PO processing, inventory tracking, and managing complex material flows to contract manufacturers and 3PLs
  • Strong working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and procurement modules
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across internal and external partners
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with internal and external business partners
  • Excellent relationship management and organizational skills, with a strong focus on risk mitigation.
