A very exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of a newly created, dedicated Inventory Integrity function. You will be 100% field based across the EMEA geography and spend most of your time visiting our Supply Chain engaged customers, where we hold Vendor Managed Inventory. You will be performing counts/audits on behalf of Arrow, to meet our legal and regulatory requirements for inventory auditing, as well as to focus on keeping inventory risk to a minimum. Arrow offers Supply Chain Solutions to some of the most prestigious names in electronics. Your role is to ensure that where we store our inventory at our external Supply Chain partner locations, we do so in a compliant, efficient way, that matches what was contractually agreed, and minimises financial loss for Arrow, through optimal inventory handling processes and best in class counting and auditing.
Job Responsibility:
Plan an efficient cycle of inventory counts and audits throughout the year at Arrow’s customer locations
Perform robust, efficient and SOX/finance compliant counts of Arrow owned inventory at customer locations and report back results
Participate in post count reconciliation activities, driving towards a compliant, accurate and fully documented result for each location
Provide internal feedback about customer operational handling of Arrow owned inventory and make recommendations
Root cause analysis and corrective actions for inventory discrepancies
Requirements:
English language fluency
European language abilities would be an advantage (Italian, French, Spanish distinct advantages)
Happy to travel extensively (>70% time visiting customer locations) within EMEA
Unrestricted right to travel freely within and across EU borders
Previous experience from a logistics/warehouse/inventory control area would be an advantage
Understanding of warehouse storage systems and methodology
Appreciation of SOX controls and how inventory records impact financial statements
Ability to work and think independently
Laser sharp attention to detail and curiosity to get to the root of a problem
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Proven track record of strong work ethic and customer service
Expert organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
Nice to have:

Previous experience from a logistics/warehouse/inventory control area
