Job Description

The Inventory Executive will support the procurement and inventory management of IT and data center equipment such as servers, networking devices, storage systems, racks, and related hardware. The role involves coordinating with vendors, maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting purchase processes, and ensuring smooth material availability for data center operations. The candidate will work closely with engineering, operations, and finance teams to manage procurement activities, vendor documentation, and asset tracking while ensuring compliance with internal processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist in procurement of IT inventory including servers, networking devices, storage, racks, cables, and peripherals
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, asset tagging, stock movement, and reconciliation
  • Coordinate with vendors for quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, and invoicing
  • Support vendor onboarding, documentation, and compliance checks
  • Track warranty, AMC, and renewal schedules for IT assets Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to understand requirements and timelines
  • Support basic cost comparisons, negotiations, and vendor evaluations
  • Maintain procurement trackers, reports, and dashboards using Excel or ERP tools
  • Ensure adherence to internal procurement processes and audit requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 0–2 year of experience (freshers with strong interest in procurement/inventory are welcome)
  • Basic understanding of IT hardware, networking components, or data center equipment
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • exposure to ERP or inventory tools is a plus
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and documentation skills
  • Willingness to learn vendor management and procurement processes
  • Clear communication and stakeholder-handling ability
