Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Full-time Inventory Control, you will help facilitate the movement of product throughout our Distribution Center to company owned branches. You will manage our company inventory within the distribution center by verifying shelf product and quantity through inventory checks. Fastenal Company is committed to environmental protection and to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all employees. This is an entry-level position based out of our distribution center located at 217 Patenaude Dr, Winona, MN 55987. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

Job Responsibility

  • Operating computer programs, RF scanners, and printers to label product
  • Inspecting quality and accuracy of products
  • Counting and auditing product
  • Using a scale for weighing product
  • Locating missing inventory
  • Inspecting and correcting shelf integrity
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work area
  • Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
  • Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
  • Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings

Requirements

  • Proficient written and oral communication skills
