Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking to add an Inventory Control Technician to our Materials Management team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a Full-Time opportunity. This is a Monday through Friday for 6:00am to 2:30pm, with some weekends as needed for coverage. This position will work directly with licensed healthcare professionals and will make an impact on their ability to care for our patients. The ideal Inventory Control Technician candidate will combine customer service, warehousing and inventory, and leadership experience to serve our customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading, coordinating, and monitoring the daily activities of the supply department
  • Providing limited supervision, such as determining work assignments
  • Assessing nursing supply needs
  • Finding substitutes for medical supplies in the event that we cannot order our usual items
  • Distributing supplies to customers and maintaining adequate inventory for assigned units
  • Warehousing supplies, inventory control, equipment cleaning and distribution
  • Customer service desk, telephone coverage

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years Warehouse Experience
