Job Responsibility:

  • Leading a team of 10+ non-exempt employees in CVS Health’s distribution facility
  • Directing workflow for warehouse employees and leading team to meet and exceed daily targets
  • Managing day to day work operations, evaluating work performance, and assisting manager in total leadership and operations
  • Hiring, on-boarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to all colleagues reporting to this role
  • Maintaining a high level of performance for Inventory control, slotting, cycle counting, root cause analysis, Golden Zone as per CVS’s IC, Quality and Compliance standards
  • Managing and sustaining a high level of standards through 5S, lean and cleanliness across the DC using CVS SOP and protocols
  • Promoting, reinforcing and holding all colleagues accountable for safety, security, awareness and compliance
  • Executing daily activities and operational plans in compliance with all SOP’s, Processes and strategies
  • Striving to meet or exceed all Key performance Indicators in safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory and People
  • Conducting performance appraisals, Training and PUMPS
  • Coordinating processes and assignments with leadership of all DC areas
  • Defining terms for conducting tasks and establishing new priorities for assignments
  • Managing team performance through timely feedback and performance review process

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years supervising Inventory Control functions within a Distribution Center/Warehouse
  • 2 years supervisory experience
  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Verifiable High School diploma or GED

Nice to have:

  • Bi-Lingual
  • Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System)
  • Background in Six Sigma production techniques
  • Bachelor's Degree
