Job Description

The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for administering and maintaining cycle counting, backflushing processes, and maintaining correct inventory of materials and supplies used in the manufacturing process.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate daily cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records across 3 warehouses and 8 cleanroom production centers through a team of cycle counters
  • Assist in daily cycle counting operations and training as necessary
  • Perform inventory transactions for NCMRs, moving logs and intercompany transfers
  • Participate in daily shift huddles across facilities to support continuing education for the teams onsite
  • Maintain clean workspace and 5S Standards in work area
  • Maintain Lean initiatives and participate in lean projects as assigned
  • Research inventory discrepancies and determine root cause and actions to resolve
  • Reconcile inventory variance or recommend adjustments to finance and leadership teams
  • Verify back flushed materials are issued properly
  • Analyze completed orders and make necessary issues or credits, notify manager if variances are high before closing work orders
  • Perform inventory transactions for NCMRs, moving logs and intercompany transfers
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop recommendations to improve overall accuracy and handling of inventory
  • Provide suggestions and take active role in Process Improvements to eliminate non-value-added activity
  • Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to Health and Safety Requirements, GMP and standard work procedures, Continuous Improvement & ISO Standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior 3+ years of inventory experience within a warehouse / production environment
  • 3+ years of SAP experience
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office and SAP experience preferred
  • Able to frequently lift up to 55 lbs

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Prior 5+ years of inventory experience (warehouse preferred)
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, and work with deadlines
  • Certified to operate fork truck, pallet jack, and other material handling
