Job Description:

We are seeking a strong and disciplined Inventory Control Manager to take full ownership of reverse logistics (returns) inventory control across North America. This role is responsible for stabilizing, standardizing, and governing inventory processes across multiple 3PL returns facilities that require improved structure, visibility, and control. The Manager will lead efforts to ensure inventory accuracy, enforce compliance with internal controls (including SOX), and drive accountability across third-party partners and internal stakeholders. This is a high-impact role focused on building sustainable processes—not just managing day-to-day activity.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own end-to-end inventory control across all returns and reverse logistics facilities
  • Establish structure, standards, and governance in environments with inconsistent or underdeveloped processes
  • Ensure all returned inventory is accurately received, recorded, and properly classified
  • Eliminate aged or unprocessed returns, misclassified or stranded inventory, and gaps in visibility and reporting
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions across 3PL partners and internal teams
  • Oversee reconciliation between Oracle ERP and 3PL WMS systems
  • Ensure discrepancies across all transaction types are identified, investigated, and resolved
  • Implement and scale exception-based reconciliation processes
  • Ensure integrity of inventory balances supporting financial reporting
  • Lead inventory control governance across all returns-related 3PL partners
  • Define and enforce expectations for transaction accuracy, inventory handling, and compliance
  • Own execution and continuous improvement of inventory-related SOX controls
  • Ensure all activities are audit-ready with complete documentation and traceability
  • Establish reporting frameworks to provide visibility into returns inventory by status and location, aging, excess, and obsolete inventory, and inventory discrepancies and trends
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all returns facilities
  • Standardize inventory control practices across 3PL network
  • Lead initiatives to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
  • Provide guidance and oversight to Inventory Control Specialists / Analysts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred)
  • 5–8+ years experience in inventory control, reverse logistics, or 3PL environments
  • Proven experience managing ERP (Oracle preferred) and WMS reconciliation processes
  • Experience operating in SOX-controlled environments
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • French and English Communication

Nice to have:

Experience with Power BI or similar tools
