Job Responsibility:
Maintain and update inventory data within the Lawson system to ensure accurate and efficient records at all times
Use analytics from Lawson to manage inventory levels, assess demand patterns, and perform root cause analyses
Develop and implement standard operating procedures for inventory management processes and system usage
Evaluate inventory turnover and days-on-hand metrics to optimize stock levels and expense management
Assist in setting up new inventory locations, ensuring alignment with system data and operational needs
Create reports on inventory utilization and metrics for daily, weekly, and monthly reviews
Oversee daily cycle counts, perform audits, and address discrepancies through detailed root cause analysis
Implement improvement initiatives to reduce inventory costs and enhance supply chain efficiency
Ensure compliance with safety and infection prevention policies, maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of three years of experience in inventory control
Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, techniques, and systems
Proficiency in data entry and computer skills, including experience with inventory software applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills suited for a dynamic, customer-focused environment
Ability to work effectively in a detail-oriented setting, maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas
Demonstrated ability to train staff and promote best practices in inventory management
Capability to analyze data, prepare reports, and solve inventory-related problems efficiently
