In your role as an Inventory Control Specialist, your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate management and control of warehouse inventory. You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and the night shift Lead and collaborate with the production department to optimize inventory control procedures. Your contribution will be crucial in maintaining an efficient inventory management system.
Job Responsibility:
Review and reconcile issues versus scans daily
Cycle count inventory daily
Work with warehouse Supervision and team on inventory accuracy through needed cycle counts
Ensuring accuracy and usage of materials and being willing to look for best practices to improve processes where needed
Reviewing CVR and performance for possible issues from previous production
Follow verbal/written procedures for daily activities for consistency, collaborate with supervision, and make suggestions for improvement
Work closely with accounting so JDE matches what is reported
Utilize JDE to check and verify work order materials scanned vs production paperwork and make necessary adjustments based on assigned recounts
Close work orders daily, assuring proper materials are accounted for to maintain correct inventory on all materials used of the current day
Must ensure FIFO task is completed daily on All materials issued utilizing JDE
Serves as a backup Lead in the absence of the primary Lead
Responsibilities often require overtime and weekend hours
Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean warehouse environment
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to inventory control quality, and safety
Other duties & responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
3-4 years of warehouse in a manufacturing setting with inventory control experience
Licensed Forklift Operator or ability to get licensed
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent organizational and time management skills
