We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to support high-volume inventory operations in Austin, Texas. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is accurate with data entry, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and confident handling both administrative and physical inventory tasks. The person in this role will help maintain organized records, support vehicle stock activities, and contribute to smooth day-to-day inventory control. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal errors are essential for success.
Job Responsibility
Enter large volumes of inventory and transaction data with a high level of speed and accuracy
Verify inventory records by performing routine physical counts and reconciling discrepancies between system data and actual stock
Support vehicle stocking activities and ensure inventory is properly recorded and updated
Coordinate and document dealer trade activity to maintain accurate tracking of incoming and outgoing units
Prepare and organize inventory-related documents, reports, and supporting records for daily operations
Review transactions for completeness and accuracy, identifying and correcting errors when needed
Assist with inventory accounting and clerical tasks that help keep dealership operations efficient and compliant
Follow company procedures and applicable regulations when handling inventory records and related documentation
Requirements
At least 1 year of recent experience in inventory, clerical, accounting support, or a similar detail-focused role
Strong data entry skills, including proficiency with 10-key input and a high level of accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting while maintaining attention to detail
Solid math, analytical, and computer skills relevant to inventory tracking and record maintenance
Experience with inventory counts, reconciliations, or stock verification processes
Good communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Dependable work ethic and a positive, detail-focused approach to daily responsibilities
