Inventory Clerk

• Organize and store supplies efficiently to ensure easy accessibility for nursing units
• Monitor inventory levels regularly and place orders to replenish stock as needed
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and supplies to ensure proper tracking
• Perform clerical duties related to inventory management, including data entry and filing
• Inspect incoming supplies for accuracy and quality before adding them to inventory
• Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments to address supply needs promptly
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations in managing inventory
• Conduct periodic audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Assist with the organization and labeling of assets to streamline inventory processes

• Experience performing clerical tasks in a setting that requires attention to detail
• Proficiency in managing and ordering office or supply inventory
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or software is a plus
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with various departments
• Ability to lift and move supplies as needed
• Previous experience in a healthcare or similar environment is preferred
