Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join the team of a Logistics company on a contract basis in Honolulu, Hawaii. This position involves assisting with a project to support the annual physical inventory process. If you have strong organizational skills and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this role offers a great opportunity to gain experience and earn extra income.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct accurate stock counts and verify inventory levels
Reconcile physical inventory data with existing records to identify discrepancies
Enter inventory data into spreadsheets or database systems with precision
Assist with general clerical tasks related to inventory management
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of the inventory process
Follow established procedures to maintain accuracy and consistency
Use inventory software and tools, such as Excel, to track data
Report findings or issues to supervisors for resolution
Ensure compliance with safety and operational guidelines in the warehouse

Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting
Familiarity with database management and inventory tracking systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks
Basic office skills, including organizational and clerical abilities
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to a team-oriented environment
Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to completing the project
Experience conducting inventory audits or similar tasks is preferred
