We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to support our manufacturing client in Lebanon, PA. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating material flow, and keeping storeroom operations running efficiently. The person in this role will help ensure maintenance parts, tools, and supplies are properly received, organized, tracked, and available when needed.
Job Responsibility
Receive incoming maintenance materials, inspect shipments for accuracy and condition, and place items into the appropriate stock locations
Maintain precise inventory data for parts, tools, and supply items by updating transactions and stock movements in company systems
Distribute materials to maintenance team members and record usage so inventory levels remain current and traceable
Complete routine cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory reviews to confirm on-hand quantities
Research quantity variances, identify likely causes of discrepancies, and support timely corrections to inventory records
Arrange, label, and manage the storeroom in a way that improves accessibility, efficiency, and workplace safety
Prepare parts and material kits in advance to support scheduled preventive maintenance activities
Monitor consumption patterns and contribute data for inventory reporting, replenishment planning, and stock control decisions
Keep the stockroom clean and orderly by following structured housekeeping and 5S practices
Requirements
Experience working in inventory control, stockroom operations, warehouse support, or a similar materials management role
Working knowledge of inventory tracking, reconciliation, cycle counting, and inventory record accuracy
Ability to use ERP or inventory management systems to enter transactions, review stock activity, and maintain organized records
Familiarity with inventory reporting and the ability to identify trends or irregularities in material usage
Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect shipments and verify items against packing documentation
Comfortable supporting a fast-paced maintenance or operations environment where timely parts availability is important
Proficiency with common business systems and tools, including ERP platforms and collaborative applications such as monday.com
