We are looking for an Inventory Clerk to support a Contract assignment within a healthcare environment in Omaha, Nebraska. This position focuses on verifying fixed assets across hospital departments, keeping inventory records accurate, and ensuring equipment is properly identified and documented. The ideal candidate brings hands-on inventory experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work respectfully in active patient-care settings.
Job Responsibility
Conduct physical counts of fixed assets and equipment across multiple areas of the hospital
Attach, confirm, and document asset identification tags to ensure items are accurately tracked
Review on-site findings against current asset records and note any mismatches
Investigate missing, unrecorded, or incorrectly listed items and document discrepancies clearly
Recommend corrections to inventory records based on verified physical inventory results
Maintain organized, accurate documentation while working efficiently in clinical and non-clinical spaces
Interact professionally with hospital staff and follow site protocols when entering patient-care environments.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in inventory control, asset tracking, or a similar records-focused role
Working knowledge of physical inventory processes, including asset verification and reconciliation
Experience identifying and documenting discrepancies between inventory records and actual equipment
Ability to handle detailed counting tasks with a high level of accuracy and consistency
Strong organizational and communication skills for working effectively in a hospital setting
Familiarity with annual inventory activities, asset inventory procedures, or inventory tracking practices
Ability to remain attentive to detail and respectful in active patient-care areas.
