Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for accuracy in inventory management. The role involves collaborating with warehouse staff and handling key administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Job Responsibility:

Process and verify incoming and outgoing shipments, including handling bills of lading and picking slips
maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and audits
respond to and manage inbound calls related to inventory and warehouse operations
conduct regular inventory audits to ensure alignment with system records
perform clerical tasks such as data entry and documentation to support the inventory team
collaborate with warehouse staff to facilitate efficient receiving and distribution processes
monitor and address any discrepancies in inventory counts or documentation
organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure accessibility and orderliness.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field
proficiency in handling administrative tasks such as auditing and clerical duties
strong communication skills, including experience answering inbound calls
familiarity with inventory systems and processes, including shipping and receiving
excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
ability to work effectively in a team-oriented warehouse environment
strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
