Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in inventory management and logistics. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient handling of shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.

Job Responsibility:

Organize and oversee shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely delivery and proper documentation
Track and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate records are maintained
Conduct annual physical inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies
Collaborate with assembly line teams to monitor and manage asset inventory
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to facilitate efficient inventory tracking
Prepare reports and documentation related to inventory activities
Identify and implement improvements to inventory processes for enhanced accuracy and efficiency
Coordinate with other departments to resolve inventory-related issues
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations during inventory handling
Support the implementation of inventory control systems and tools

Requirements:

Proven experience in inventory tracking and management
Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
Ability to conduct annual physical inventory and reconcile data
Skilled in managing asset inventory within assembly line settings
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in using inventory control tools and systems
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of safety regulations related to inventory handling
