We are looking for an Inventory Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Litchfield, Arizona. This role involves working in a warehouse environment to ensure product quality and proper organization. The position requires physical activity, including lifting items weighing between 10-15 pounds, and attention to detail to maintain inventory accuracy.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct thorough inspections of products to identify defects or damages
Separate defective items from acceptable products for further processing
Re-palletize items that meet quality standards to ensure proper storage and organization
Utilize scanning equipment to track and manage inventory efficiently
Maintain accurate records of inspected and processed items
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations
Follow established safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear, including long pants and closed-toe shoes
Assist in shipping and receiving tasks as needed to support the workflow
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills when interacting with colleagues and supervisors
Requirements:
Previous experience in inventory management or a similar warehouse role
Ability to lift and move items weighing 10-15 pounds regularly
Familiarity with scanning equipment and inventory tracking systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Commitment to following safety guidelines and wearing required protective clothing
Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
