We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Hopewell, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory processes, ensuring accurate tracking, and maintaining organized storage areas. Job Responsibility:
Organize and maintain storage rooms containing items for apartment buildings
Ensure all items are properly inventoried and categorized for efficient tracking
Input inventory data into tracking systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Utilize Excel and other tools to manage inventory records and reports
Perform physical inventory checks to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies
Collaborate with team members to streamline inventory processes
Prepare detailed documentation and reports on inventory activities
Maintain compliance with inventory and storage protocols
Handle inventory-related inquiries and provide updates to relevant stakeholders
Requirements:
Proven experience in inventory management or a related role
Proficiency in Excel and data entry tasks
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to conduct physical inventory checks and resolve discrepancies
Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and tools
Effective communication skills to work with team members and stakeholders
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
