We are looking for organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerks to join our team on a contract basis in Salinas, CA. This position involves conducting inventory counts and tracking assets across multiple locations. Successful candidates will receive training on inventory scanning processes and work collaboratively to ensure accurate data collection.
Job Responsibility:
Perform inventory counts using barcode scanners and other tracking tools
Ensure accurate documentation of assets and physical inventory at each assigned location
Travel between designated sites and adhere to mileage reimbursement policies
Participate in orientation and training sessions to learn the inventory scanning process
Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures during inventory activities
Work collaboratively with team members to meet inventory deadlines and accuracy standards
Address discrepancies and report findings to management promptly
Follow the specified dress code and maintain professionalism at all times
Assist as a backup inventory counter when required
Uphold safety protocols and operational guidelines while working on-site
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of inventory tracking systems and barcode scanning technology
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies
Physical capability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods while conducting counts
Reliable transportation to travel between multiple locations as needed
Completion of pre-employment requirements prior to starting the position
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
