Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Hobbs, New Mexico. This contract position offers the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring efficient inventory management and supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of inventory control processes and a proven ability to maintain accuracy and organization in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits
  • Conduct inspections of inventory and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Monitor and report on inventory levels to facilitate timely restocking and prevent shortages
  • Organize and manage the storage of materials to optimize space and improve accessibility
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth material flow and yard organization
  • Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate records
  • Assist in developing and implementing improved inventory tracking systems and processes
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during inventory handling
  • Generate detailed inspection and inventory reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support customer service efforts by providing accurate inventory information to field personnel and engineers

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or materials management
  • Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and audit processes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Experience in conducting inspections and preparing comprehensive reports
  • Knowledge of safety and quality assurance standards in industrial environments
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve processes
  • Previous experience in environments such as oil and gas, steel, or industrial materials is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
