Inventory & Materials Coordinator $20/hr Job Description Position Summary/Objective The Material Handler ensures production lines are supplied with raw materials and packaging to maintain efficient operations throughout the facility. Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate with supervisor in proactively supplying raw materials for each Electronics Technician on a daily basis. Ensures all areas have the required materials in a timely manner to promote an efficient operation. Fill warehouse satellite locations with raw materials Bring unused raw material “returns” back to the warehouse Perform daily cycle counts of inventory items. Provide assistance to Quality Assurance team members as needed. Responds to requests for raw materials and packaging in a timely manner. Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes. Perform various ERP transactions. Complete any paperwork honestly and accurately. Promotes and maintains a work area that is clean and safe, following all safety standards and guidelines. Ensures that all returns sent are complete and accurate. Verifies condition of returned items and identifies any damage Verifies warranty status on returned goods upon receipt Insures all returned goods have a notification of return (RMA) and creating RMA’s for printers that return without them along with insuring all parts intended on being returned are accounted for. Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS office and Excel. Physical Requirements The ability to stand for long periods of time with the ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs continuously or repetitively is required. This position requires the ability to operate a fork-lift.
