Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory and Asset Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, ensuring accurate tracking of goods and materials, and optimizing inventory control procedures. Additionally, the role involves managing company assets, including equipment and property, to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and sales teams to optimize stock levels
Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity
Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to streamline inventory movements
Maintain inventory databases and generate reports on inventory status
Manage company assets, including depreciation tracking and maintenance schedules
Implement asset management best practices to maximize asset utilization and minimize downtime
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to inventory and asset management
Collaborate with finance and accounting departments on inventory valuation and asset reporting

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Proven experience in inventory management, asset management, or related fields
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software/systems
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in inventory and asset management
