Job Description

I’m partnering with a growing manufacturer in Northern CT that has doubled in size and is building out its inventory accounting infrastructure. This is a newly created role due to operational growth and increasing complexity across plant operations and an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate looking for a growth opportunity or someone who has experience working with accounting or operations looking for a growth opportunity!

Job Responsibility

  • Reconcile inventory subledger to GL (Great Plains)
  • Review and validate inventory transactions (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments)
  • Investigate discrepancies across systems
  • Support cycle counts and physical inventory
  • Assist with monthly standard cost roll & month-end close

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain (or related)
  • Strong Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented and system savvy
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable working directly with plant, warehouse & procurement teams
  • Manufacturing / inventory exposure is a plus
